Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of YourChaser. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and YourChaser ("YourChaser", "we", "us"). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a firm or other entity, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity.
2. The Service
YourChaser provides software that helps bookkeeping firms request, track, collect, and reconcile financial documents from their clients, including automated reminders and integrations with third-party accounting platforms. We may add, modify, or remove features over time.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
- The Service is intended for business use by users aged 18 or over.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or to upload unlawful content.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes others' rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or disrupt its operation.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or use the Service to build a competing product, except as permitted by law.
- Introduce malware or interfere with other users' data.
5. Customer data and client documents
You and your firm retain all rights to the data and documents you submit ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and consents to upload Customer Data, including documents provided by your clients. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party integrations
The Service may interoperate with third-party platforms (for example, Xero or Dext). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct. You authorise us to exchange data with integrations you connect.
7. Trials, fees, and billing
We may offer a free trial. Paid plans and pricing are being finalised; when introduced, fees, billing cycles, and payment terms will be presented to you before you are charged. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST where relevant).
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by YourChaser and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
9. Confidentiality
Each party may receive confidential information from the other. The receiving party will protect it and use it only as needed to perform under these Terms, except where disclosure is required by law.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated. The Service is a tool to assist bookkeeping workflows and does not constitute accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify YourChaser against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your Customer Data, or your misuse of the Service, except to the extent caused by us.
13. Term and termination
These Terms apply while you use the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will make Customer Data available for export for a reasonable period, subject to our retention obligations.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
